OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in IT infrastructure deployments, corporate real estate technology projects, and enterprise workplace technology implementations to support the delivery of large-scale infrastructure initiatives across the client's Commercial Real Estate portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with infrastructure teams, vendors, construction partners, facilities stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure technology environments are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business requirements.

This role is ideal for a proactive, highly organized project management professional who excels in coordinating complex infrastructure projects involving new site builds, renovations, branch expansions, office relocations, and technology refresh initiatives. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, balancing competing priorities, and overseeing both planning and execution activities in fast-paced enterprise environments.

Pay: W2 $69/h

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop integrated baseline project plans, applying estimating models, identifying required resources and skills, and managing performance against them.
  • Assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, and enforce accountability.
  • Develop and maintain budgets and schedules to ensure timely project completion.
  • Recommend best solutions based on an understanding of business issues.
  • Provide task-based schedule and cost forecasts and assist in assessing risk-based provisions.
  • Capture and track program metrics and perform analysis.
  • Manage project scope by assessing requirement changes and conveying impacts on budget, time, and risk.
  • Manage client expectations, anticipate operational and tactical risks, and track them.
  • Clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, removing barriers and resolving project issues.
  • Manage project closure initiatives, including client satisfaction surveys and closure analysis.
  • Perform regular visits to construction sites to confirm IT deliverables and meet with vendors and trades.
  • Responsible for onsite management and development of the team on a project-by-project basis.
  • Perform onsite install verification assessments and floor walkthroughs.
  • Ensure availability from 8:30am-5pm CST/EST for planning activities and during go-live periods.
  • Thoroughly understand how revenue-producing business lines may be impacted by project work.
  • Travel to project sites 25-50% of the time, including some overnight travel.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Previous experience with real estate builds, renovations, and remodels supporting the IT side of the work.
  • Ability to assertively schedule work and ensure timely completion amidst competing demands.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in developing project plans using Microsoft Project and managing individual deadlines.
  • Understanding of the scope, impact, and risks to IT equipment and services during all project phases.
  • Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, and trend analysis.
  • Ability to identify issues, generate solutions, and choose appropriate alternatives.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications, MS Project, and/or Visio.
  • Basic understanding of hardware related to servers and IT equipment in data centers.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills.
  • Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical thinker with creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

PREFERRED

  • Relevant postsecondary education.
  • Experience in the Financial Industry.
  • PMP certification.
