Azure DevOps Engineer

For our client, a leading organization with a strong focus on digital innovation, we are seeking a skilled and passionate Azure DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining the Azure infrastructure that supports their cutting-edge solutions. You will collaborate closely with developers and other engineers to ensure high availability, security, and efficient deployment of their applications.

Your challenges:

• Designing and developing Azure infrastructure to support solutions provided to clients.
• Driving initiatives that enable developers to increase quality.
• Supporting the team in ensuring high availability of production and pre-production systems.
• Implementing Security by Design principles.
• Continuously improving our continuous integration and deployment (CICD) pipelines.

This is what you bring:

• Experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure, specifically with DNS, Application Gateway, Azure SQL, App Services, Load Balancer, WAF, and Firewall.
• Experience automating deployment and integration pipelines using MS DevOps with Azure CLI and PowerShell.
• Excellent understanding of networking principles (IP addressing, virtual networks, network security, and networking models).
• Good understanding of containerization options in Azure.
• You are open to collaboration but can also work independently.

What will you do in this position?

The ITS Digital Solutions team plays a key role in scaling, automating, and managing core parts of our client's cloud-based infrastructure. As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will act as an "engineer for the engineers," empowering others to understand and leverage the architecture and platform underlying their features. You will work with Azure as the primary platform and utilize tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Kubernetes.

You will collaborate closely with engineers from other teams, enabling them to successfully run their code on the provided platform. The team is part of a larger effort to help the business realize its digital ambitions by developing cutting-edge solutions for clients. You will be part of a diverse team of DevOps Engineers, Product Owners, Security Architects, and other specialists.
