We are looking for a senior SAS VIYA DevOps Engineer to become part of the Platform & Automation Chapter within TECH / Finance & Risk to deliver value in the COO Risk, Modelling Tribe.
How are we organised?
The Meteor squad is part of the Modelling tribe within the domain of COO Risk. The aim of the Modelling Tribe is to optimally manage and support the Risk modelling capabilities of ING. Risk models are crucial for the competitive advantage of ING. With highly performant Risk models, ING is able to make accurate predictions related to the probability of default of customers, for instance, and with that can make well informed decisions related to Business & Consumer Loans. The Meteor squad provisions state of the art tooling to support ING’s global Modelling community. The purpose is to deliver standardized and globally supported, high-performing, secure, compliant, reliable and scalable environments aligned with existing ING target infrastructure.
As a DevOps Engineer you will be part of the Meteor squad working for the Modelling Tribe.
We operate according to a Scrum Agile process and strongly believe in the BusDevOps approach to delivering IT solutions because operationally we work closely with our business stakeholders to support their activities. The focus is on anticipating needs and delivering secure, scalable, reliable, useable platforms on time using iterative development cycles with regular milestone demos and strong compliancy focus.
The team
Meteor squad is an energetic, international team of highly qualified SAS Experts and DevOps engineers. You will join a team where the product is constantly evolving and introducing new features. The main platform is based on SAS Viya 3.5 running on ING’s private cloud and we are currently busy with migration to SAS Viya 4.0 (containerized version of SAS Viya) on the Azure Cloud.
Meteor is a Platform Team responsible for the provisioning, enhancements and lifecycle management of the Model Platform using CI/CD and SRE practices.
We are looking for an DevOps Engineer who would like to join us and strengthen the team with their technical know-how and a great attitude.
Roles and responsibilities
As a SAS Viya DevOps Engineer you will be part of the Meteor squad and in that role you will be responsible for the roll out, configuration, upgrade and maintenance of the underlying tooling based on SAS Viya 3.5 by applying CI/CD techniques and SRE principles.
