About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Security Analyst to join our agile security team.

This role plays a key part in managing and maintaining our Information Security Management System (ISMS) and critical security tools, helping to strengthen our organisation’s security posture.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring policies, standards, and procedures are developed, updated, and enforced.
  • Coordinate and execute security activities in alignment with the security calendar, including scheduled tasks and audit requirements.
  • Respond to customer requests by providing accurate and timely security information and documentation.
  • Manage and optimise operational security tools, including: Identity and access management, Device management. Managed detection and response solutions, Cloud security.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to strengthen the organisation’s overall security posture.

Experience
Essential

  • Entry-level role – no prior industry experience required; focus on transferable skills and a proactive learning mindset.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and their key components.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365.
  • Operational knowledge of security tools such as Rapid7, Akamai, or Lacework.

Knowledge and Skills 

Essential

  • Strong academic foundation with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and operational security tools. 

Desirable

  • Proactive and curious mindset, with the ability to identify and drive improvements.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey security concepts.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a small, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with identity and access management, device management, managed detection and response, and cloud security.
