The ideal candidate should be skilled in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++, and have a solid understanding of radar signal chains. While prior experience in SAR systems is not required, a deep interest and foundational knowledge of radar principles are essential. Exposure to communication systems, especially encoder/decoder design and baseband processing, is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, implement, and simulate radar signal processing algorithms including:
o Pulse compression
o Range-Doppler processing
o CFAR detection
o SAR image formation techniques (Range-Doppler, Omega-K, TDBP)
· Analyse raw radar data for calibration, artifact reduction, and performance validation.
· Develop and optimize radar algorithms using MATLAB, Python, and C/C++.
· Contribute to SAR system simulation and processing pipelines, including motion compensation and resolution enhancement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Signal Processing, or a related field.
· Strong theoretical understanding and hands-on experience in digital signal processing.
· Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++ for algorithm development and validation.
· Solid understanding of radar system concepts such as SNR, ambiguity functions, time-frequency analysis.
· Familiarity with range-Doppler radar systems or any pulse-based radar architecture.
Preferred Skills:
· Exposure to SAR systems: signal chain, motion compensation, autofocus, or image formation techniques.
· Familiarity with radar data post-processing, denoising, and resolution enhancement techniques.
· Exposure to data analysis of SAR or radar-like systems (e.g., RF simulation tools or synthetic datasets).
· Understanding of basic RF and antenna principles relevant to SAR performance (e.g., bandwidth, aperture, swath).
Why Join Us:
· Contribute to next-generation SAR systems for remote sensing, aerospace, and defense.
· Collaborate with a world-class R&D team working on challenging radar and sensing problems.
· Opportunity to innovate at the intersection of radar signal processing, sensing systems, and intelligent data analysis.
