We're working with a successful mixed secondary school trust in Southwark that is looking to appoint a Facilities Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.
Supporting two schools within the trust, you'll take the lead on ensuring both sites remain safe, compliant, and well maintained, working closely with senior leaders to deliver an excellent environment for students, staff, and visitors.

As Facilities Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of both school sites, ensuring buildings, grounds, and compliance standards are maintained to the highest level.
Responsibilities include:
Managing planned and reactive maintenance
Leading health and safety and statutory compliance
Managing contractors and external service providers
Overseeing premises budgets and facilities projects
Supporting site security and safeguarding procedures
Working closely with school leaders to continually improve the learning environment
The successful candidate will be organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities across two busy school sites.

Previous experience as a Facilities Manager, Estates Manager, Site Manager, or Premises Manager within a school environment is essential.
You'll have strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to maintaining safe, compliant, and welcoming school environments.
