Job Description

The role

 We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team.

Qualifications

Main responsibilities:

• Assist in building and operating a microservice architecture in Azure with guidance from senior team members

• Work on highly available systems with thousands of B2B users and zero downtime

• Support the development, testing, and deployment of scalable and secure infrastructure using DevOps best practices

• Automate operational tasks and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Contribute to the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and assist in the adoption of infrastructure/platform components by engineering teams

• Monitor and support cloud environments by integrating telemetry and observability tools. Maintain best practices around notifications and incident response.

Main requirements:

• 1+ year of experience working with DevOps and cloud infrastructure

• Knowledge and basic experience with one of the major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)

• Familiarity with microservice architectures and an understanding of scalable, distributed systems.

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, and CI/CD workflows

• Good understanding of at least one of the IaC tools (e.g. Terraform, Azure Bicep, AWS CloudFormation / CDK)

• Knowledge of a common scripting language (e.g. Bash, Python, JavaScript/NodeJS)

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools, e.g. ELK, Grafana, Datadog.

• Proficiency in Linux/*nix environments

• Knowledge of Azure and the .NET ecosystem is a plus but not required.

This role is:

• Full-time and permanent.
