Position Title: IT Support Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for technology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-line technical support to end-users in-person, by email, and over Zoom.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems, including backups, antivirus, and security updates.
  • Document issues, solutions, and processes in our IT knowledge base.
  • Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including device setup and account provisioning.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.


Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with Okta, Microsoft 365, Antivirus, and remote support tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (Microsoft, etc.) are a plus.
