Description

National Able Network has an immediate opportunity for a service-oriented professional who will be a facilities manager. Responsible for the overall management, maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of the Center facilities. Ensures a clean, safe, and fully functional environment for staff and visitors by overseeing building systems, building vendor services, preventative maintenance programs, and regulatory compliance for the building. 


 Responsibilities: 

  • Oversees daily facilities operations and maintenance of all building systems.
  • Conducts routine inspections of interior/exterior spaces, including mechanical areas and grounds.
  • Manages HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems for efficiency and cost control.
  • Develops and implements preventative maintenance programs.
  • Coordinates repairs, renovations, and facility improvement projects.
  • Manages building vendor contracts and service providers.
  • Ensures compliance with OSHA, fire codes, and safety regulations.
  • Oversees cleanliness standards throughout the facility.
  • Coordinates space planning and event setup.
  • Manages Safety Committee meetings and follow-up activities.
  • Oversees building security protocols and opening/closing procedures.
  • Maintains reports, logs, and compliance documentation.
  • Oversees inventory and procurement of facility supplies.
  • Maintains strong customer service focus.
Requirements

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of building systems, OSHA regulations, and safety compliance.
  • Ability to assess risks and trouble shoot facility issues. 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience managing vendors, contracts and budgets.

  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities management or building operations.
  • Experience managing vendor contracts and facility projects.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to regularly lift fifty pounds, occasionally lift seventy-five pounds, and assist in lifting objects in excess of seventy-five pounds.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and navigate all areas of the facility.
