Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and driven DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of DevOps practices, automation, and a deep knowledge of Linux-based development environments. This role requires someone who can work autonomously and collaborate effectively within a BTT framework.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and scalability of our applications and infrastructure. You will be involved in automating processes, deploying and managing systems, monitoring applications, and driving continuous improvement in our DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of systems through monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Azure DevOps and scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
  • Collaborate with developers to improve the overall lifecycle of applications, from development to production.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus, AlertManager, Grafana, and Kibana.
  • Utilize Tibco EMS/MQ, WebSphere, and Java (Spring Boot) for integration and management of applications.
  • Maintain and enhance containerization solutions and orchestrate using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Drive improvements in ITIL-based processes for incident, change, and problem management.


Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of DevOps and SRE principles and practices.
  • Experience working with Linux-based development environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Bash and/or Python scripting.
  • Familiarity with containerization concepts (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts and their application in operations.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and version control.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring tools like Prometheus, AlertManager, Grafana, and Kibana.
  • Familiarity with Tibco EMS/MQ and WebSphere platforms.
  • Experience with Java (especially Spring Boot) applications.
