Youβll be working as a DevOps Engineer in one of the squads of the Cloud API Management area of ING/TechInfra.
The Team:
Within ING, the purpose of Tech/Infra is delivering reliable and cost-competitive IT Infrastructure services that can be consumed via APIs, IaC and a GUI and that enable consumer squads to work in an Agile and DevOps way. The squads work as scrum teams, developing and maintaining the features of the standardised virtualised stack, including the delivery processes.

- speak and write fluently in English (but some Dutch would also be nice)
- want to automate everything, version everything, test everything
- Are fluent in at least one of Go, C#, Python, and TypeScript
- know your way in Linux and Windows, and aren't afraid of Ansible or PowerShell
- know your way with Azure DevOps and Git
You know Computer science:
- Knowledge of advanced data structuresΒ
- Able to recognise and code dynamic programming solutions, algorithms,
- Understands the entire programming stack, hardware (CPU + Memory + Cache + Interrupts + microcode), binary code, assembly, static and dynamic linking, compilation, interpretation, JIT compilation, garbage collection, heap, stack, and memory addressing.
- Your Software Engineering Skills include:
- Knowledge of distributed VCS systems. Have extensive knowledge of Git, Git Flow, Git Merge strategies, and Git Branch strategies.
- Can set up a script to build the system, and also documentation, installers, generate release notes, and tag the code in source control
- Can set up automated functional, load/performance, and UI tests
