We're currently working with a welcoming mixed secondary school in Southwark that is looking to appoint a Facilities Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As Facilities Manager, you will lead the day-to-day management of the school site, ensuring facilities are maintained to a high standard and that the school remains safe, secure, and compliant.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing all aspects of site maintenance and upkeep

  • Coordinating contractors and external suppliers

  • Leading health and safety and compliance procedures

  • Supporting premises improvement projects

  • Managing facilities budgets and procurement

  • Ensuring the site is welcoming, secure, and fit for purpose

The school is looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and can confidently manage both people and projects.

Previous experience in facilities, premises, estates, or site management is essential.
