Systems Engineer, Level 4 (VDI/Desktop of the Future)

High-Level Description: The Systems Engineer designs and supports Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions, ensuring alignment with operational needs and emerging technologies.

Detailed Description: The Systems Engineer will develop, implement, and maintain VDI solutions as part of the DIA's Desktop of the Future initiative. This role includes designing scalable architectures, managing configurations, and integrating new technologies to enhance user experience. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet mission requirements.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum 8 years of experience in systems engineering, with 4 years specializing in VDI solutions.

· Expertise in Citrix, VMware Horizon, or similar technologies.

· Familiarity with RMF and IC security standards.

· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
