Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

Graham Technologies is seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the development of advanced cloud strategies and automated solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS cloud services, DevOps practices, and system integration across diverse platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong architectural vision, hands-on experience with cloud-native tools, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Location: Washington, DC

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies for cloud-based automation and platform integration, including but not limited to AWS EC2, Lambda, S3, Redshift, and Postgres.
• Translate business needs into long-term, scalable architecture solutions aligned with mission goals.
• Design, develop, and implement cloud solutions, including evaluating software platforms and integrating complex systems.
• Implement automation for cloud resource provisioning and deployment, adhering to DevOps best practices.
• Provide high-level technical expertise to solve problems related to systems integration, platform compatibility, and cross-platform performance.

Required Skills:

• Must possess active DoD Top Secret
• Proven experience designing and deploying cloud-based solutions using AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, Redshift).
• Hands-on experience with Postgres and cloud-native databases.
• Strong background in DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipeline design.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture, including platform evaluations and system integration.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve multi-platform system integration issues.

Desired Skills:

• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or Associate).
• Experience working in federal or DoD environments with classified systems.
• Familiarity with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
