Job Title: Network Engineer
Job Location: Frankfurt, Germany (Hybrid)
Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Networking Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies and a strong understanding of network security, load balancing, and routing/switching.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot F5 Load Balancers for high availability and traffic management.
• Manage and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, including policy creation, VPNs, and threat prevention.
• Configure and support Cisco networking devices (routers, switches, and wireless solutions).
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Perform network upgrades, patching, and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Ensure network security best practices and compliance standards are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project implementations and issue resolution.
• Maintain proper documentation of network configurations and changes.
Mandatory Skills:
• Hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancer (LTM/GTM preferred)
• Strong expertise in Palo Alto Firewalls
• Solid experience with Cisco networking (routing & switching)
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs)
• Experience with network monitoring tools
• Understanding of network security principles
• Basic scripting or automation knowledge (Python, Shell, etc.) is a plus
• Certifications like CCNA/CCNP, PCNSE, or F5 certifications are advantageous
Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
