Job Description:

Activision is looking to bring aboard a talented new IT Support Engineer III to join our London office!

Reporting to the local IT Support Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing a top tier level of IT support services to the employees of Activision Blizzard (AB). You are someone passionate about technology and who has prior professional experience supporting IT environments where Windows, Mac OSX and Linux co- exist in harmony. 

This role will be for a 100% on-site job located in London.

Your Mission

  • Provide end user support for applications and systems like MS Office, VPN, Mobile Phones and video conferencing systems
  • Supporting of a mixed Windows, Mac OSX and Linux OS environment
  • Work with all of the regular IT support tools including but not limited to: Active Directory, Office 365, antivirus, imaging, Mobile Iron, disk encryption, spam management
  • Ensure the IT requirements for new hires and departures are managed correctly
  • EOL Replacements of phones and laptops
  • Audio Video Meeting set up and support
  • Manage the IT assets through their entire lifecycle from acquisition to disposal
  • Gather and translate user expectations to technical solutions
  • Create and update documentation using a wiki (Confluence)
  • Mentor customers and deliver end user training
  • Monitor and manage the IT ticket queue to ensure SLA’s are achieved
  • Onboarding new staff
  • Offboarding including arranging couriers and device collection/legal hold 


Player Profile

  • 3+ years’ of experience providing IT Support in corporate environments
  • Professional experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and email systems (Exchange Online/Office 365)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications such as Microsoft Office suite
  • Awareness of security standards to protect personal IT devices and an understanding of Internal networks (routing, DNS, DHCP, etc)
  • Experience in hardware installation and troubleshooting of PC’s and Macs - this includes working with hard drives, motherboards, CPUs, PSUs, GPUs, sound cards, monitors, etc
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • A passion for customer service and a team player attitude with excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make quick decisions with limited information

  • ITIL Version 3 experience
  • Industry certification e.g. CompTIA A+ /MCP
