IT Cloud Engineering Principal Specialist SG

JOB DESCRIPTION
Cloud Related Operations and Engineering:

• Practice and evolve modern practices as it applies to Public Cloud such as infra as code, immutable infra, blue / green deployments, CI/CD
• Ensure IT assets in Public cloud are secure and protected.
• Raise Change requests and adhere to Bank Change process
• Plan and execute cutovers as required
• Function as level 2/3 escalation point for any cloud related operational issues
• Keep updated on required industry reading as it pertains to Technology in the financial services industry primarily MAS and ABS.
• IT Department SOP
• Bank Procurement Guidelines and SOP
• AWS Well architected framework and whitepapers
   

Other Responsibilities
 

• Participation in Stakeholder meetings;
• Participation in relevant IT Department meetings;
   

Requirements:

• Positive attitude, a good team player & Willingness to learn new technologies
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• General awareness of programming best practices
• Minimum 3-8 year of experience / knowledge in development background
• Be familiar with at least one IDE (such as Microsoft Visual Studio) and a quick learner
• Must have strong fundamental in python or yaml based programming language
• AWS certifications are highly desirable
