AutoCAD, the leading software for Computer-Aided Design, is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer intern to join our team to build and support the entire cloud services ecosystem for our various products.
You will be part of a team of DevOps engineers that build, expand, and maintain the multiple cloud solutions for the multi-platform AutoCAD application that serves millions of users. You’ll be working with modern technology stacks, including Python, Django, Java, AWS, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Graphite/Prometheus, Docker and more.
Responsibilities
Research and recommend the best approach to solve a given problem
Take part in the research, design, development, deployment, and monitoring of cross-platform AutoCAD features – bringing a centralized backend perspective to the table
Adoption of best practices and market-standard technologies and methodologies
Collaborate with colleagues both inside and outside of the team
Minimum Qualifications
Pursuing BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other Engineering disciplines
Understanding of object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms
Understanding & constant curiosity of best practice DevOps and architecture methodologies
Great programming skills (Python, JavaScript, Node.js,…)
Knowledge of Docker environments
Excellent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently
Ability to collaborate and communicate well in team environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS-based architecture
Previous back-end development experience
Experience with infrastructure as code, configuration management tools and cloud automation
Experience defining and building CI/CD processes and working with common CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity…)

You are comfortable working in newly forming ambiguous areas where learning and adaptability are key skills
You love the exposure to develop scalable cloud service on scalable AWS infrastructure
You are great at communicating your findings both orally and visually
You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectually as a member of team with minimal supervision
