Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Network Engineer to work in Washington DC, responsible for overseeing the installation and support of network communications, including LAN/WAN systems. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation requires evaluation and judgment. Responsible for evaluating current systems. Assists in the planning of large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies. Requires thorough knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, networks, and applications. May administer network security measures.

Qualifications:

• Two to five (5) years of network engineering experience.
• Preference of Bachelor's degree, or higher, in an IT-related field.
• Experience with network administration technologies such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, RADIUS, log servers, packet sensing, authentication, authorization, and AAAS; IPv4 and IPv6, routing protocols (BGP); virtual LAN segmentation management; and NAT. Familiar with capturing, analyzing and troubleshooting, and performance tuning network applications through network packet captures.
• Experience with network access control management.
• Experience with reviewing and analyzing requests for network connectivity
• Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required

• Be able to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours.
• Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard)
• Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English language
