Information Security Analyst (DLP Focus)

G MASS Consulting are partnering with a Lloyds syndicate as they seek an experienced Information Security professional with strong Data Loss Prevention (DLP) expertise to support and enhance its security control environment.

The role will focus on the design, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of DLP controls, working closely with technology, risk, and business stakeholders within a regulated insurance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls across email, endpoint, cloud, and data platforms
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to DLP alerts and potential data leakage incidents
• Participate in peer review activities, including control assessments, security design reviews, and change approvals
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of information security policies, standards, and procedures
• Work closely with IT, compliance, and risk teams to ensure alignment with Lloyd’s and regulatory requirements
• Support audits, risk assessments, and regulatory requests relating to data protection and information security
• Provide guidance and best practice recommendations to stakeholders on secure data handling

• 5+ years’ experience in an Information Security, Cyber Security, or Technology Risk role
• Proven hands-on experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools and controls
• Experience participating in peer reviews, security assessments, or control validation activities
• Strong understanding of data protection principles and information security frameworks
• Experience working in a regulated environment (insurance, financial services, or Lloyd’s Market preferred)

Salary: £80k-110k

Length: 6 months contract, with possibility of extension
