What’s the role?
The Information Security Analyst is responsible for identifying and responding to potential cyber threats, communicating with internal stakeholders for incident response and
remediation. The Information Security Analyst participates in knowledge sharing and process improvement initiatives within the SOC.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong willingness to learn by gaining hands-on experience with SOC tools and developing technical and professional skills. They actively engage in team development activities, seek mentorship from experienced team members, and contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused environment that values continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
What do I need?
- Experience in a Cyber Security or SOC role is highly desirable.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Experience working with SIEM and SOAR tools, or a technical background with strong IT skills, knowledge of network technologies, protocols and/or firewalls.
- Good understanding of concepts such as Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK framework, or experience with EDR or Cloud solutions is highly advantageous.
- A desire to keep learning with a curious and creative mindset.
- Weekend shifts are required once every three weeks as part of the role.
