Job Overview

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems used in automotive applications. The role demands hands-on technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems in vehicles.
  

• Carry out preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance of heating and cooling units.
  

• Diagnose system malfunctions, determine corrective actions, and replace defective components.
  

• Conduct routine system performance checks, pressure tests, and refrigerant charging.
  

• Ensure compliance with automotive safety standards and company policies.
  

• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records for each vehicle.
  

• Collaborate with supervisors and other technical staff to meet operational and production requirements.
  

• Ensure tools, equipment, and workshop area are maintained in proper working condition.
  

Essential Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI certification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
  

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an HVAC Technician in the automotive sector.
  

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerants, compressors, condensers, and related components.
  

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
  

• Basic knowledge of automotive electrical systems.
