The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems used in automotive applications. The role demands hands-on technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Perform installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems in vehicles.
Carry out preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance of heating and cooling units.
Diagnose system malfunctions, determine corrective actions, and replace defective components.
Conduct routine system performance checks, pressure tests, and refrigerant charging.
Ensure compliance with automotive safety standards and company policies.
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records for each vehicle.
Collaborate with supervisors and other technical staff to meet operational and production requirements.
Ensure tools, equipment, and workshop area are maintained in proper working condition.
Diploma / ITI certification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an HVAC Technician in the automotive sector.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerants, compressors, condensers, and related components.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
Basic knowledge of automotive electrical systems.
Hands-on technical expertise in HVAC installation and repair.
Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic and repair tools.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of safety protocols and HVAC regulatory standards.
