Job Description & Summary

About the role:

PwC’s Digital Audit Financial Services team sits at the centre of audit innovation, bringing technology‑enabled solutions to some of the UK’s most complex and high‑profile financial services clients. As a Digital Audit Director – Financial Services, you will be part of a collaborative, fast‑growing team that combines deep sector expertise with leading digital capability.

In this role, you will shape and deliver a differentiated digital audit approach, influence senior client stakeholders and play a key role in winning and retaining major accounts. You will be based in London, with flexibility across other UK locations, and should expect regular collaboration with client teams.

This role offers the opportunity to lead at scale, influence PwC’s future audit proposition and build long‑term client relationships in a rapidly evolving market.

What your days will look like:

You will provide leadership across complex audits and help define how technology enhances audit quality and client outcomes by:

  • Setting and overseeing the digital audit strategy across a portfolio of financial services clients

  • Leading client relationships, proposals and pitches alongside audit partners

  • Embedding technology‑enabled audit approaches and leveraging client systems where appropriate

  • Coaching and developing senior team members across multiple locations

This role is for you if:

  • You have extensive experience leading large, complex financial services or fintech audit engagements

  • You have demonstrable experience owning senior client relationships and influencing C‑suite stakeholders

  • You have led audit teams across multiple locations and diverse skill sets

  • You have applied digital or technology‑enabled approaches within audit delivery

  • You have experience of SOx engagements and operating in regulated environments

  • You have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and audit quality standards within financial services

What you’ll receive from us:

No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions.

We offer a range of benefits including empowered flexibility and a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; six volunteering days a year and much more.
