We are more than 90 Voziers spread among 11 countries and now we are looking for a DevOps Engineer.
As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for establish and maintain a reliable infrastructure, automate and optimize processes, ensure software quality and availability, foster collaboration between teams, and stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the DevOps field. This role plays a critical role in the development and maintenance of our software engineering operations. Your contribution will be essential to the continued success and growth of our company.
What you'll do
- Design, implement and maintain systems infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems and cloud services.
- Automate and optimize software development, implementation and deployment processes.
- Configure and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to establish automated testing practices and ensure software quality.
- Monitor and analyze systems in production to ensure availability, performance and security.
- Resolve issues and problems related to software infrastructure and services.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation of systems and processes.
- Foster collaboration and communication between development and infrastructure teams.
- Research and evaluate new DevOps tools, technologies and practices to improve efficiency and quality.
- Maintain up-to-date on trends and developments in the field of software engineering and DevOps.
- Act at all times in a manner that does not jeopardize the health and safety of themselves, others in the workplace, and the information and resources they use.
- Help identify areas where risk management practices should be adopted.
- Take all practical steps to minimize Vozy's exposure to contractual and regulatory liability.
- Adhere to company policies and standards of conduct.
- Report incidents and observed anomalies or weaknesses.
What you'll need
- Knowledge of Linux operating system administration (e.g. Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) and basic knowledge of Windows Server.
- In-depth knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes for deploying and managing applications in production environments.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef for deployment and configuration management across multiple servers.
- Experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or CircleCI for automation of software integration, testing and delivery processes.
- Advanced knowledge of version control systems such as Git, including branching, merging and conflict resolution.
- Experience configuring monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or Splunk for tracking system performance, availability and security.
- Basic knowledge in database administration, especially in solutions such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and experience with virtualization tools such as VMware or VirtualBox.
- Knowledge of security and compliance practices in DevOps, such as key and certificate management, access control and data encryption.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash or PowerShell, and ability to write custom scripts and tools to automate tasks.
- English - upper intermediate level (nice to have).
