As a Cloud Engineer, you will be joining the Data and Reporting Foundation. This area is part of the tribe that delivers regulatory and compliance reporting platform within ING.
We do this from a multinational team, consisting of 40+ engineers in 3 different countries: Philippines, India and the Netherlands.
Roles and responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team. The Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and managing applications, solutions, and systems on the Azure cloud platform. Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and manage solutions on the Azure cloud.
Oversee the architectural design and implementation of Azure based solutions.
Ensure compliance with cloud security and privacy standards.
Manage cloud risk and compliance controls.
Provide technical leadership to project teams.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand and meet business goals.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services and technologies.

A degree in computer science or a comparable education on an academic level
5+ years of cloud engineering (Azure, AWS or GCP)
CICD experience. Preferably using azure devops.
Preferably experience with some of the following: Docker, AKS, Airflow
Preferably experience with the Open Source way of working
You have a good understanding of Software Architecture
Excellent team player in an international team, quality focused, service oriented, eager to learn
You are able to discuss with your stakeholders and product owner about features and stories and can translate these into software with real business value
Strong analytical skills
Excellent oral and written English skills

Stand-by shifts
Our platform is business critical. The platform team has a stand-by duty which is planned on rota. Stand-by compensation is awarded.
If you are designated by your lead for stand-by shifts to be available for incidents outside of your regular working hours, a Stand-by compensation is awarded.
