You Are

Our company is looking for a highly energetic and collaborative DevOps Engineer with experience building enterprise solutions around Business and IT operations. The ideal candidate should be an expert Engineer in the DevOps and AWS. A good understanding of enterprise data architecture and systems is expected. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with technologists to C-level executives are key to be successful in this role.

The Opportunity
  • Drive customer conversations to define infrastructure & Software requirements.
  • Exercise your strong decision-making skills in terms of Application Infrastructure
  • Design and develop automation to support continuous delivery and continuous integration processes.
  • Build Infrastructure for new applications with AWS.
  • Collaborating with Customers and Product Marketing / Management teams to identify opportunities that can be exploited through great software features.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Senior Business Analysts, and other client stakeholders.
  • Working as a member of a design, build and test agile team continuously releasing new features.
  • Mentoring people whether they are on your team.

Requirements

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a software related discipline.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps 5+ year of hands-on experience in implementing and using CI/CD framework technologies such as Jenkins or Bamboo
  • Experience with Cloud Environment (AWS) is must.
  • AWS Certification is must. Experience with MongoDB, SQL Server & DB2
  • 3+ years of experience working as a member of an Agile team.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A critical thinker that challenges assumptions and seeks new ideas.
  • Proactive sharing of accomplishments, knowledge, lessons, and updates across the organization.
  • Experience designing, building, testing, and releasing software solutions in a complex, large organization.
  • Demonstrated functional and technical leadership.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills (ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems)
  • AWS, DevOps & CI/CD Experience
  • Overall Experience level: 8+ years in IT with min 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer

Compensation can differ depending on factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, our client provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $125,000-$150,000

Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
