THE ROLE
We're looking for a talented and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. You'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our DevOps processes and infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with AWS CDK and AWS Cloudformation for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Github Actions.
- Demonstrate knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and container orchestration.
- Champion a "security by design" approach for cloud infrastructure, leveraging AWS security services and best practices.
- Continuously optimize infrastructure costs on AWS
- Write automation scripts using one or more of the following programming languages: Bash, Python, or TypeScript.
- Effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
- Stay up to date with the latest DevOps tools and technologies and readily adopt new solutions.
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or a related role
- Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with AWS CloudFormation or AWS CDK
- Strong understanding of security best practices on AWS
- Experience in optimizing cloud infrastructure costs
- Proficiency in writing automation scripts using Bash, Python, or TypeScript
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach to detail
