As a Facility Manager, you will be responsible for assisting and coordinating repairs and upgrades as needed within the facility. You will manage projects to completion in areas of carpentry, electrical, property management. You must also be willing to perform any maintenance duties in compliance with established policies and procedures of the facility, state regulations and CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • At least 3 years’ experience
  • Supervisory experience in managing maintenance of a facility

Responsibilities:

  • General maintenance and repairs of facilities, grounds, and equipment.
  • Ensure that HVAC and heating systems are functional and maintained properly.
  • Performs a variety of work in the maintenance of the grounds and keeps it in a clean, orderly manner, including mowing, weeding, and general landscaping.
  • Performs minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing and painting as needed that does not require a permit or license.
  • Assists in ordering general maintenance supplies and keeping storage room orderly.
  • Assists in light housekeeping duties.
  • Serves as liaison for contractors, vendors, and suppliers to Controller and Executive Director.
  • Abides by all health and safety guidelines and policies of program and state, federal and accreditation statutes.
  • Maintenance of facility vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, tags, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
